These 3D-printed scribing tools are perfect for luthiers and woodworkers who need to mark an offset in close quarters, especially on pieces with multiple planes, such as the inside of a violin or cello. The tool holds a 2mm pencil lead in the center of a disc of various sizes.
Download the files and print them on any 3D printer.
The download file includes scribing tools in the following sizes: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 30mm, and a holder to store them in. A parametric Fusion 360 file is included in the downloads but you’ll need the ParametricText plugin for the text to update based on the size parameter.
