Woodorking combines two of my favorite things; woodworking and dorking around. I call it “woodworking-adjecent fun” because most of the time Woodorking is not about furniture—the most common thing woodworkers build—instead, here I focus on all of the other weird things I do in my woodshop.

I have a deep background in traditional woodworking techniques, but Woodorking is a place to bring new technologies into a traditional workflow. 3D printing and CNC machines have opened new levels of creativity in my work. They don’t change the work I do, instead, they augment the work I already do and allow me to be more efficient and accurate. Most of my woodshop time is dedicated to builds that land squarely outside the realm of most woodworking, so it won’t be directly translatable to the average woodworker’s shop but I think you’ll find a few new tricks to use in your own work.
